Who We Are
Walnut Creek Community Church is a Christian community in the greater Des Moines area. Walnut Creek was started as a church plant in 1985 by a group of 15 Christians or so from Ames, Iowa that wanted to spread the love of God in the city of Des Moines.
Since being started, Walnut Creek has grown from a few people meeting in homes to over 1,100 people meeting in four locations across the city. This growth has taken place because at Walnut Creek, we have a passionate desire to love people practically and see their lives changed for the better.
