What to Expect at our Services

When you come to church on Sunday morning at Walnut Creek Community Church you can expect a relaxed atmosphere, upbeat music, and practical, Biblical teaching. As a visitor, you will find it a safe place to come: we will not ask or expect anything from you and you may remain completely anonymous if you wish to. Here are some answers to some questions you may have:

What should I wear?

At Walnut Creek we like to focus more on the people than on what they are wearing. Simply dress how you’re comfortable and you will be fine.

How long will the service go?

Our Sunday morning services tend to last between 60 and 70 minutes. However, since you may find yourself meeting a few new people and wanting to chat, plan for an hour and twenty minutes.

What type of music do you sing?

At Walnut Creek we generally worship with up-beat, contemporary Christian music. While this is our primary worship style, we try to sing a variety of worship music to keep things fresh and to give variety to our service.

What is there for my kids?

During the sermon each Sunday morning, there is Sunday School for kids 3 years old through 5th grade. Also there is a nursery available during the whole service if you have very young children.

Is it possible to get a ride to church if I am unable to drive?

If you need a ride to church, we would be more than happy to help you find a ride. Simply email or call the church office and we’ll work something out.
