Upward Sports

Upward is a national program that teaches character, self-esteem, biblical lessons, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the fundamentals of the game. Nationally, there are over 400,000 kids involved in Upward leagues. In every Upward league, every child is a winner. All participants have equal playing time and teams are divided equally to maximize every child’s opportunity to learn and thrive in soccer, basketball or cheerleading.  For more information about Upward visit www.upward.org.

Our Upward Soccer season is just around the corner.  Practices and games are played at Lawson Elementary School in Johnston.  Participants will have the choice of having practices on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. Practices will start at 6pmand run for one hour.  Games are played on Saturday mornings.  There will be 2-3 different opportunities to sign up starting in August.  These dates and times will be listed soon.
