Common Questions

Below is a list of common questions and answers that will help you know what to expect when visiting. Of course, always feel free to contact us directly to ask us other questions you may have.

What should I wear?

At Walnut Creek we try to focus more on the people than on what they are wearing. Simply dress how you’re comfortable and you will be fine.

How long will the service go?

Our Sunday morning services tend to last between 60 and 70 minutes. However, since you may find yourself meeting a few new people and wanting to chat, plan for an hour and twenty minutes.

What type of music do you sing?

We generally worship with up-beat, contemporary Christian music. While this is our primary worship style, we try to sing a variety of worship music to keep things fresh and to give variety to our service. (Note: Our early service on Sundays at our Windsor Heights location tends to have more traditional music than the other services.)

What is there for my kids?

At Walnut Creek we love kids! During the sermon each Sunday morning, there is Sunday School for kids 3 years old through 5th grade. Also there is a nursery available during the whole service if you have very young children. Outside of our Sunday service, we have various ministries for children including AWANA and Upward Sports ministries.

Is it possible to get a ride to church if I am unable to drive?

If you need a ride to church, we would be more than happy to help you find a ride. Simply email or call the church office and we’ll work something out.

I have other questions I would like to have answered before visiting, can I ask them somewhere?

Absolutely! Simple contact us by phone or email.
